A veteran of the UK gig scene. Tours with many leading bands worldwide. A passionate and humble teacher and often seen in many of the UK’s leading colleges. Loves working with beginners as well as advanced players because of his empathetic spirit.

Chris exemplifies the humble musician with great talent and patience for others who are on a musical journey. Can entertain a crowd with fast-paced medleys. 


He has performed with Terry Callier, Chicago singer songwriter at Ronnie Scotts, The Jazz cafe and the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, Glastonbury, Blue Note Clubs in Japan & Milan and the Singapore Jazz festival.

He also played with Robin Jones King Salsa and his Latin Jazz Septet, Ronnie Scotts at the 606 Club in London, as well as the Pori and Malta jazz festivals. Chris has also shared the stage with Snowboy and the Latin Section, Charlotte Glasson, Digby Fairweather, Geno Washington, Don Rendell, Pucho amongst many others.


Since 2017, he has been a composer for the Goldleaf Music Library and to date
has original music on seven albums.


Chris obtained a Certificate in Harmony and Counterpoint from Birbeck College and graduated from Goldsmith with a Diploma in Music Teaching for Adults. He has been a tutor since 2001, teaching at Goldsmiths College, the Rock School, the London Centre of Contemporary Music and the Centre for Young Musicians.
