A classical pianist with a jazz spirit, connected to the improvisation traditions of Classical Music Colin can help a student understand the depths of the great repertoire.

Equally brilliant with Adults and Children, Colin helps his students gain great in-depth understandings on how music works bringing them into a place to enhance musicality and joy.

Colin has improvised in concerts and short films as well as short stories, in both solo and collaborative performances. He has premiered original pieces and compositions which include theatrical moments and a performance piece for 12 pianists.

He has performed in various genres of music including classical, jazz, pop, experimental, progressive, musicals, etc.

With a Masters in Music Performance, Colin is currently embarking on a PhD on the subject of adult musicians with ADHD and classical piano improvisation. He is customising his own teaching methodologies in ways that prepare the learning pianist to apply every fundamental they learn in addition to learning their repertoire.

These custom methods and patterns will be useful for the upcoming research participants in his PhD and for any future students he takes on in London.
