For most traditionally trained pianists, playing pop music is confusing. That’s because the training in this field is simple not available for piano. In this module, I’ll be showing you how tohow to leverage a simple pop chord pattern and fill it out using the tricks, riffs and fills that you hear the likes of Elton John, Billy Joel or Alicia Keys. These simple pop ornaments when combined with common chord patterns will help transform you into a social piano player, a bit like the pianist at the Ritz, who can seem to pick up any tune by ear. What is their secret. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced player, you will be set to benefit from the powerful formulas that are used over and over again in so many pop songs. The secret here, is to learn the formula, not the song, and that way, you’ve got all of the music you’ve ever dreamed you could play under your fingertips.

In this module, I will show you some mind-blowing chord progressions, that will lead you to some magical “jazz” harmonies, such as 9^th, 11^ths and 13ths.
